Home remedy against gout

The most important and effective home remedies for gout are cooling, sparing and fluid. For cooling, damp envelopes, curd cheese wraps, cabbage wraps, ice baths or cool packs can be used. The application should take place for about a quarter of an hour and can be repeated several times a day.

The intake of a lot of liquid, for example in the form of water and tea, supports the faster elimination of uric acid and thus also helps with gout attacks. Sugary drinks and alcohol should be avoided. A few days of rest and freedom from stress, as well as elevation of the joint and as little movement as possible also contribute to the improvement of the symptoms of gout attacks. You can find more home remedies for gout in the article “Home remedies for gout”.
