Reactive Arthritis: Complications

The following are the most important diseases or complications that may be contributed to by HLA-B27-associated reactive arthritis:

Mouth, esophagus (food pipe), stomach, and intestine (K00-K67; K90-K93).

  • Chronification of joint symptoms
  • Ankylosing spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis) – chronic inflammatory rheumatic disease associated with pain and stiffness of the spine.
