Release diaphragm cramp
To solve a diaphragmatic spasm quickly, there are some measures that every person affected can take. However, the effectiveness is controversial. The exercises include breathing in air and then pressing the abdominal press for a few seconds.
Drinking ice-cold water can also help. Holding air for 20-30 seconds is also described as antispasmodic. In the case of a severe cramp, the upper abdomen is described as firm and distended.
If the symptoms allow it, you can also try to loosen the diaphragm with a certain massage technique from the outside. For this purpose, the upper abdomen should be stroked with the flat of the hand. Since a cramp usually lasts only a few seconds, such measures are often not necessary.
The most effective treatment is described as using ice water and holding in air. It should be noted that these treatment measures can only treat simple diaphragmatic irritation and the resulting cramps. These measures do not help with more serious causes, such as hiatus hernia.
