    • Daily total of 5 servings of fresh vegetables and fruits (≥ 400 g; 3 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruits).
    • Once or twice a week fresh sea fish, i.e. fatty marine fish (omega-3 fatty acids) such as salmon, herring, mackerel.
    • High-fiber diet (whole grains, vegetables).
  • See also under “Therapy with micronutrients (vital substances)” – if necessary, taking a suitable dietary supplement.
  • Detailed information on nutritional medicine you will receive from us.

Complementary treatment methods

  • Acupuncture with or without moxibustion/therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): heating of specific points of the body.
  • Bloody cupping (putting a suction laser on skin in the affected area as well as at the nerve exit point paravertebral (“next to the spine”), which was previously scratched e.g. with a blood lancet; then the blood is pulled out by negative pressure) – in acute herpes zoster to reduce the pain symptomatology and healing time
