Interaction

Interactions can occur when taking several drugs, whereby the effect as well as the side effects can change. There are no known interactions for Sinupret Juice. Always consult a doctor if you have any uncertainties or other questions.

Dosage

The dosage of Sinupret Juice depends on age. The measuring cup included in the package facilitates correct intake. The juice can be taken with or without meals.

At the age of 2-5 years it is recommended to take 2.1 ml 3 times a day. At the age of 6-11 years it is recommended to take 3x daily of 3.5 ml each. From the age of 12 the dosage is 7 ml 3 times daily. Deviations from these recommended daily dosages must be discussed with the treating physician.

Price

The price for Sinupret juice is about 6-12 Euro for a bottle of 100 ml. Since this herbal remedy is not subject to prescription, the product is not subject to any price maintenance and pharmacies can decide for themselves how much they want to charge for it.

For babies

Sinupret Juice should not be taken in children under 2 years of age as there is currently insufficient research in this age group. Since inflammation in the head area of babies can spread to the entire body much more quickly, a pediatrician should always be consulted.

During pregnancy

Both the drops and the juice can be taken by children from the age of 2 years. The difference lies in the slightly bitter taste of the Sinupret drops. In order to make it easier for children to take them, maltitol solution has been added to the Sinupret juice, i.e. a sugar that makes the product taste sweeter.

Diabetics should bear this in mind. The juice also contains cherry flavour to improve its taste.
