Swelling and lumps on the fingers are usually symptoms of osteoarthritis in the finger joints. Self-exercises such as mobilization and strength building by kneading should be performed regularly. Chronic diseases such as gout, polyarthritis and arthrosis of the finger joints should always be clarified by a doctor and treated accordingly to avoid complications.
