Side effects
Vitamin B 12 and methylcobolamine, like any drug or preparation, can also cause side effects. As a rule, these side effects are allergic in nature. For example, after taking the drug, you may experience discomfort, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
In the rarest cases an anaphylactic reaction occurs, which must be treated with cortisone. Before taking vitamin B 12 preparations, it is important to check for lactose intolerance, because many vitamin B 12 preparations also contain lactose. In addition, an overdose may occur.
