Medicinal drug
Salicis cortex, willow bark. Willow bark consists of the whole or cut dried bark of young twigs or whole dried pieces of young twigs of the current year of various species of the genus , including L., Vill. and L. (PhEur). PhEur requires a minimum content of salicyl alcohol derivatives.
