Application for children

Floxal eye ointment works mainly on the eye (locally), but an effect that affects the whole body (systemically) cannot be ruled out. The active ingredient of the ointment, Ofloxcain, can have cartilage-damaging effects. Children and infants are particularly susceptible to this, as they are still growing. Therefore, Floxal Eye Ointment should not be used in children and infants.
