Epididymis pain after ejaculation

Pain in the epididymis can occur after ejaculation and is usually not pathological. This causes a vascular spasm of the vessels leading away from the epididymis, so that during arousal there is a larger amount of blood in the penis and testicles than in the non-excited state. After ejaculation, these vessels usually dilate again so that the blood can flow out. In some cases, the dilatation does not occur immediately, and the blood filling continues, which can be painful.Rarely do these pains last for several hours and should then be examined by a doctor for other causes of flow obstruction.
