Home remedy against hemorrhoids

Introduction

Hemorrhoids are widespread in the population. If they do not cause any discomfort, most people do not know of their existence. The search for treatment only begins when the hemorrhoids start to make the typical symptoms.

For example, tormenting itching, burning when going to the toilet or dull toilet-independent pain are among the leading symptoms. In the case of severe hemorrhoid formation, there can also be a slight, but also a stronger bleeding. You can find additional information here: Symptoms of hemorrhoidsMedium-sized hemorrhoids can now only be treated surgically if they are very strong and cannot be controlled in any other way.

There are now also numerous naturopathic approaches to treat hemorrhoids. Also for years existing household remedy recommendations have proven themselves. In addition to sitz bath cures, there is also a whole range of foods whose intake is intended to prevent the formation of hemorrhoids and alleviate symptoms of existing hemorrhoids.

Above all it is important to keep the stool soft. This is because hemorrhoids are more likely to develop due to solid stool and little exercise. In addition to the attempted naturopathic treatment approaches, in addition to stool regulation, sufficient daily exercise and a drinking amount of at least 2-3 liters should be ensured.

Treatment with quark

Quark is generally said to have an anti-inflammatory effect. In alternative medicine, curd cheese is used as an overlay, e.g. for joint effusions or inflammations, as well as after bruises or sprains of the joints. It can also be tried for haemorrhoids.

The background is that on the one hand, the substances contained in the quark inhibit inflammation, and on the other hand, pain relief is achieved by cooling the quark. The ingredients to which an anti-inflammatory effect is attributed are mainly whey, whose enzymes are supposed to cause the anti-inflammatory effect. To use it, wrap two to three tablespoons of curd in a piece of kitchen paper, wrap it tightly around it and place it in the painful area where the hemorrhoids are located.

The cooling and pain-relieving effect of the curd can be further enhanced by adding lavender oil, which is stirred into the curd before use. The application time should not be less than 1⁄2 hour but can be up to one hour. It is also important to repeat the application regularly.
