Homeopathy for PMS and Period Pain

Homeopathy and period pain – does it fit? Pain before and during the period knows almost every woman. But while some feel only a slight pulling in the abdomen, the days are for others a real ordeal. Cramping abdominal pain, migraine attacks, circulatory problems and mood swings accompany menstruation for many women. To alleviate these symptoms, those affected often take painkillers or even hormones. But there is a gentler way to make the period more bearable: Used correctly, homeopathy can significantly reduce PMS symptoms. It just depends on defining the symptoms precisely and then applying the right globules.

Homeopathy: application and range of use

Homeopathic remedies work according to the principle of similarity. So they treat similar things with similar things and thus cause in the healthy person exactly the symptoms that are to be cured in the sick person. At the same time, however, homeopathy is surprisingly effective in alleviating the symptoms of many patients.

The only difficult thing is to find exactly the right type of globules. To do this, the patient must describe his symptoms in detail and exactly. Once the right remedy has been found, the dosage and the intake rhythm also play an important role in homeopathy. The globules should either melt on the tongue or be dissolved in a glass of water. Stir the water with the globules vigorously with a wooden or plastic spoon. Coffee and toothpaste should be avoided.

Homeopathy for PMS

In premenstrual syndrome (PMS), women often have very different pains and symptoms. For headaches, circulatory problems, lower abdominal pain with cramps, skin problems and dejection, five Cimicifuga D12 globules can be taken twice daily. Use these globules from the 14th day of the cycle until the onset of bleeding.

If instead you are struggling with PMS symptoms such as insomnia, exhaustion, severe headaches or migraines, visual disturbances and dizziness, tearful mood and tension pain in the chest, Cyclamen D6 can provide relief. Use five globules of it twice a day from the 14th day of the cycle until the onset of the period.

Some women also experience cold-like symptoms and headaches before menstruation, are tired and irritable. Magnesium carbonicum D12 helps here. Take five globules twice a day – from the 14th day of the cycle until the onset of bleeding.
