How long does a periodontitis last?
The duration of cervical inflammation varies. In the case of cleaning defects, the change of a new toothbrush or the switch to a softer brush can already provide relief, while in the case of complaints caused by bruxism, a crunching splint must be worn in the long term to prevent the problem from recurring. In the case of severe sensitivity increases, protective varnishes and fillings usually only help temporarily, so that in the long term healing can only be achieved with a connective tissue transplant.
