  • “Everything hits the stomach”!
  • Mood swings, irritable weakness, self-reproach, tearfulness
  • Characteristic is a globe feeling, as if the bite is stuck in the throat or in front of the stomach entrance
  • Stomach cramps and weakness on an empty stomach
  • Flatulence with vain desire to defecate
  • Aggravation of the complaints by grief, fright and fear

Nux vomica (Nux vomica)

  • Stomach and digestive problems are closely related to lifestyle: Overworked people with sedentary lifestyles on the one hand and hectic city life on the other
  • Meals too fat, too much and combined with plenty of meat and alcohol
  • Thereby aggravation of the complaints, but is accepted
  • Also too much coffee and tobacco consumption
  • Accustomed to irritant abuse
  • Stomach pain half an hour after eating, feeling of fullness, belching, nausea
  • Also flatulence, colicky stomach aches
  • Constipation with frequent, futile urge to defecate
  • Excited temperament, does not tolerate contradiction
  • Restless sleep, early morning tiredness, headaches, nausea and vomiting
  • Improvement in rest and in the evening hours
  • Aggravation by food, irritants and early morning
  • Nux vomica is also considered a proven “hangover remedy”.

Sodium phosphoricum

Tablets D12 are particularly used.

  • Heartburn as a result of increased stomach acid production, acidic belching and vomiting
  • Tendency to (acidic) diarrhea
  • Milk, butter, fat, sweets and cold drinks often act as triggers for the complaints
  • Exhaustion and muscle weakness with a tendency to rheumatic complaints, which can also be caused by increased uric acid (gout)
