Prognosis in the event of a sudden high blood pressure event
Immediate treatment of derailed blood pressure is necessary because untreated patients with permanently massively elevated blood pressure have a very high risk of cardiovascular diseases such as strokes (apoplexy) and heart attacks, as well as a high risk of dying from these complicated diseases.
