Renewed cerebral hemorrhage after surgery
In principle, complications can arise in individual cases during any surgical procedure. A possible complication is always post-operative bleeding. How serious the restrictions are for the patient depends on many factors.
For example, it is decisive how much blood escapes from the head after the operation and whether the bleeding stops by itself or has to be operated again. If a small bruise forms in the area of the operation after the operation, this can also be harmless and is caused by damage to smaller vessels during the operation. If, however, an attempt was made to stop a vessel bulge at the cerebral arteries (aneurysm) using a clip and post-operative bleeding occurs, loosening the clip may also be the cause of post-operative bleeding. If this is the case, it is usually a bleeding of a more serious extent, which often requires further surgery. It is important that the patient is closely monitored after a neurosurgical procedure in order to detect possible complications quickly and to be able to react adequately.
