Side effects

Pheromones are as much a part of the body as, for example, the production of sweat or saliva. Therefore, side effects of pheromones are not to be feared, as they are substances produced by the body itself. Since the effect of these messenger substances has not yet been fully decoded and it is not known what exact role they play in sexual orientation and in the choice of partner, pheromones are suspect to many people.

Some people claim that the side effect of pheromones is that they tempt us to find the wrong men or women attractive or to have a sexual desire for the wrong partners. However, there is no scientific basis for this. However, it is important to distinguish that the perfume industry, for example, produces various perfumes in which alleged pheromones are said to be contained. These can of course have various side effects, whereby the side effect is not pheromone-related, but rather due to other ingredients in the perfume.
