  • Psoriasis-related nail changes (yellowish-brownish discoloration of the nail plates):
    • Use of a nail polish containing clobetasol (clobetasol propionate/derivative of betamethasone 0.05% DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide; organic solvent) q.s.(quantum satis (Latin for “as much as necessary,” “sufficient amount”)), nail polish 3.3 ml; i.e., nail polish for nail psoriasis, applied to affected nails 1 × daily before bedtime).
    • If necessary, additionally in moderately severe courses: three times injection of about 0.1 ml triamcinolone 40 mg crystal suspension in the nail fold; injection intervals: 4 or 6 weeks.
