Treatment of the disease only with homeopathy or only as supportive therapy?
Whether or not joint pain can only be treated with homeopathy or not depends strongly on the underlying cause. In the case of acute joint pain that occurs only once, treatment can initially be carried out using homeopathic preparations alone. However, if this shows no improvement after a few days, a doctor should be consulted.
Depending on the treatment that is subsequently sought, homeopathic remedies can, however, continue to help improve the symptoms. If there is occasional mild joint pain, it is not always necessary to see a doctor immediately. Joint pain is a widespread symptom that can occur when a joint is acutely overstrained.
If the corresponding joint is relieved, the symptoms can improve quickly. However, if severe pain recurs over a longer period of time, a doctor should be consulted. A doctor should also be consulted if other symptoms occur, such as a severe restriction of movement, fever or other pain.
Other alternative forms of therapy
A very important form of therapy for joint pain is muscle training. This mainly refers to the muscles in and around the joint, but also in general a well-trained musculature is very important for the body and to prevent further joint complaints. Muscles play a very important role for joints, as they help to stabilize them and can reduce the pressure on the joint in the event of excessive stress.
Specific exercises to strengthen the muscles are therefore a very important measure to counteract joint pain. In case of joint pain, the application of different Schüssler salts is also suitable to alleviate the symptoms. The type of preparation to be used depends on the nature of the symptoms.
If the joint pain occurs in the context of inflammation, different Schüssler salts can be used depending on the type of inflammation. In case of chronic inflammations, for example, these include the salts Ferrum phosphoricum and Sodium sulfuricum. The application should take place one to three times a day.
- For acute joint pain, Schüssler Salt No. 1, Calcium fluoratum, Schüssler Salt No. 17, Manganese sulfuricum, and Schüssler Salt No. 20, Potassium aluminum sulfuricum are particularly suitable.
