When can I do sports again?

Especially after a thrombophlebitis, sport is an important preventive factor to avoid or prevent the recurrence of a thrombosis. However, after a thrombosis has occurred, an ultrasound examination should first be carried out to rule out the possibility that parts of the thrombosis could come loose and travel via the blood into the lungs, where in the worst case they could trigger a pulmonary embolism. Sport is also an important protective factor in chronic venous insufficiency.

In this case, however, if there are open areas on the legs, these should be adequately covered. In autoimmune diseases, the general condition is the decisive factor. If you feel physically able to do so, there is nothing to prevent you from doing sports.
