Which home remedies can help me?
For joint pain, there are numerous home remedies that can help relieve the symptoms. These include the local application of various oils that can be massaged into the joint area. Various wraps and compresses can also help with joint pain.
- Peppermint oil has a reducing effect on severe pain.
- Rosemary oil has a stimulating effect on the blood circulation, which allows a relaxation of the often cramped muscles in the joint area.
- Eucalyptus oil has an anti-inflammatory effect and thus leads to an alleviation of the symptoms of pain in the joint.
- This includes, for example, a cold quark topping. For this, a few tablespoons of curd are placed in a cotton cloth and wrapped on the joint. The quark can store the cold for a long time, which effectively cools the irritated joint.
- Mustard compresses can also be used for joint complaints.
For this purpose, mustard powder is mixed with water and processed into a paste. This is also wrapped and placed on the joint. Here the application should not last longer than five minutes.
