Eyelashes dye

Beautifully curved, long, dark lashes can be easily tinted by a beautician or tinted at home with an eyelash tinting set. This saves you the daily application of mascara or eyelash serum and the tiresome removal of make-up in the evening. The dark tinted eyelashes last for about 4 weeks.

What does an eyelash tinting set contain?

To tint the lashes you need professional equipment, which you can buy in the drugstore. You can choose between black or different shades of brown. An eyelash tinting set contains the selected eyelash tint, a developer cream, an applicator, a jar to mix the tint and special absorbent cotton pads that are attached under the eye area. The developer (also called oxidant) is a cream that has to be mixed with the tint just before applying it and thus initiates a chemical reaction. You should also have cotton swabs, a greasy cream (e.g. Vaseline) and handkerchiefs ready before tinting the eyelashes.

Eyelash tinting instructions

First, the eyes and eyelashes must be thoroughly removed and the eyelash hairs and eyelids must be degreased. If you use oil-based make-up removers, the eyelashes must then be degreased with a mild facial toner. Next, you should apply a little fat cream (Vaseline) to the skin under the eyes.

Make absolutely sure that no cream gets on the lashes, otherwise the eyelash tint cannot stick. Now the pads included in the eyelash set must be placed carefully and as close as possible to the lower lash line. Then dip a cotton swab into the developer solution and apply it to the upper and lower lashes.

In the next step apply the color to the lashes with the enclosed lash comb or a new cotton swab. Start at the lash line and spread the color up to the tips. Make sure that the color is evenly distributed.

Now let the color take effect according to the package instructions (3-5 minutes). Finally, the eyes must be cleaned with a damp absorbent cotton pad. This should be done with closed eyes so that no color gets into the eye.

Depending on the exercise, allow 10-30 minutes for tinting the eyelashes. Inform yourself also about the topic: Realash Eyelash Serum
