- Saliva or secretion
- Amount [decreased]
- Expressed (squeezed saliva or secretion) [turbid].
- Inspection (viewing).
- Cancer screening [examination of all lymph node stations [due topossible secondary disease: non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma].
- Ophthalmological examination [due todifferential diagnosis: keratitis (corneal inflammation)]
- ENT examination [due topossible sequelae: chronic cough irritation, dysphonia (hoarseness), rhinitis sicca].
