Effects
Antithrombin III (ATC B01AB02) is anticoagulant: it is an endogenous substance that inhibits blood clotting. Its action is enhanced by heparins, which bind to and activate antithrombin III.
Indications
Substitution therapy in patients with congenital antithrombin III deficiency.
