Skin and subcutaneous (L00-L99).
- Furuncle (inflammation of a hair follicle that melts centrally like an abscess) – must be incised (“make an incision”).
Ears – mastoid process (H60-H95).
- Mastoiditis – mastoid process inflammation; acute inflammation in the mastoid process of the temporal bone with bone fusion.
Musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (M00-M99).
- Osteomyelitis (bone marrow inflammation).
Injuries, poisonings, and certain other sequelae of external causes (S00-T98).
- Lymph gland abscess
