Car Diet

What is the car diet?

The KFZ Diät follows the idea of food combining diets. The “K” stands for carbohydrates, “F” for fats and “Z” for snacks. The principle here is a separation of high-fat and high-carbohydrate meals. Accordingly, carbohydrates should be taken in the morning and at noon, and in the evening the focus is then on protein-rich foods. The diet promises the users great success without having to go hungry and a long-term healthy nutritional form for lastingly maintaining the achieved desired weight.

Procedure of the car diet

The name KFZ stands for the separation of carbohydrates and fats, as well as the regular intake of snacks, which is to cause the success and the lack of hunger during the diet. In the morning as well as at noon one should orientate oneself by carbohydrate-rich recipes. There should be a six-hour break between the two meals.

During this time, satisfying, carbohydrate-rich foods such as bread, muesli, rice, potatoes and pasta are on the menu. It is important that the dishes are very low in fat. If you feel hungry, snacks are now allowed after the main meal at noon.

In the evening, carbohydrates are then eliminated, the menu includes protein in the form of meat and fish and healthy fats, and vegetables, salads, legumes and other protein-containing foods are allowed as side dishes. The side dishes should make up about two thirds of the portion so as not to exceed the limit. The diet promises above all a long-term success and can be kept over several weeks, weight losses at the beginning are less extreme than with so-called crash diets.

Which foods are allowed?

With the car diet, different foods are allowed depending on the time of day. In the morning and at lunch carbohydrates should make up the majority of the meal. This includes bread, rolls, muesli, jam, later rice, pasta, noodles, pasta and potatoes.

Dairy products and high-fat products are not recommended until the afternoon, only for dinner are meat, fish, eggs, legumes, dairy products next to vegetables and salad side dishes on the menu. Carbohydrates are prohibited during this phase.
