Medical history (history of illness) represents an important component in the diagnosis of chlamydial infection.

Current anamnesis/systemic anamnesis (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • Do you have pain with urination?
  • Have you noticed any other symptoms such as discharge from the urethra/vagina or itching?
  • Do you have a fever, do you feel sick?
  • Do you have sexual intercourse with frequently changing partners?
  • Do you have unprotected sexual intercourse?
  • Have you recently traveled abroad (Africa, Orient, India, etc.)?
