Costs
Periimplatitis treatment is a service that is not covered by the statutory health insurance and must therefore be paid for in full by the person affected. Only some private health insurance companies cover the costs of this disease. Depending on the dentist, the costs for the cleaning are about 200€, but in case of severe bone resorption, the costs are about 500€, because here an additional bone augmentation is necessary. In addition, there are the costs for the antibiotic ointment and possibly follow-up operations if the disease cannot be cured by the first operation.
