Facelift through tapes
There are facelift tape tapes, which are intended to tighten and firm the skin. There are different tapes like different areas of the face that need to be tightened. Such a facelift tape is fixed in the face depending on its location.
One can fix the tapes behind the ears to tighten the middle part of the face, the eye area or the forehead. There are different ways of applying the tapes and detailed instructions for the correct fixing of the facelift tapes. You can buy sets with several adhesive pads for 25€ and use them several times. There are even transparent facelift tapes that you can put make-up on and wear on the street.
Facelift through stem cells
Facelifting with stem cells is a skin tightening method, which is carried out in a minimally invasive outpatient procedure. The doctor first removes stem cells from the patient’s fat, prepares them and injects a mixture of fat and stem cells under local anesthesia into the skin areas of the face to be treated. It is possible to combine the procedure with targeted liposuction or just remove the fat needed for the facelift.
Surgical procedures
Not every patient can have a facelift in the same way. There are different surgical procedures that have different advantages and disadvantages and for this reason seem more or less suitable for certain desired results and initial situations. The most common facelift methods are the so-called SMAS- Lift, the Mini- Lift and the Liquid- Lift.
The healing time following a facelift depends on the extent of the operation, i.e. the degree of skin smoothing and the degree of slackening of the patient’s facial skin. On the other hand, the chosen surgical method plays a decisive role. Less traumatic operations require less healing time, while healing takes much longer after an invasive procedure.
Duration of the surgery
The duration of a surgical facelift depends on the chosen surgical method and the extent of the facelift. With a conventional facelift, the operation takes about three to four hours on average and is performed under general anesthesia.
