Hekla Lava for the treatment of heel spur

In homeopathy, the alternative remedy is used especially for the treatment of a heel spur. A heel spur is a bony outgrowth on the heel (calcaneus). Due to its special location, it is also called calcaneal spur.

In the area of the heel, small injuries occur at the transition of the tendon to the bone during stress. These injuries promote the remodelling of the tissue and lead to calcification after a longer period of time, since healing takes place under inflammation and scarring. Without early treatment, the calcification will eventually develop into a heel spur.

A distinction is made between a heel spur directed forward (ventrally) and a heel spur directed backward (dorsally). The ventral heel spur grows along the sole of the foot in the direction of the toes and occurs more frequently in adults and older people. In contrast, the dorsal heel spur develops into the Achilles tendon.

Young patients often suffer from stabbing pain because there are many vascular and nerve tracts in the region. In this case, treatment with Hekla Lava is performed as a long-term therapy. Compared to conventional treatment with painkillers, a long-term therapy can be carried out without undesirable side effects.

For about three to six months, globules with the potency C4 are taken three times a day with two globules each. The homeopathic remedy supports the body in counteracting inflammation and pain and promotes degradation processes. According to studies, patients have reported a significant improvement in symptoms and the heel spur can also completely disappear.

Hekla lava in Osgood-Schlatter disease

This disease is a non-inflammatory bone necrosis of the knee, which is caused by a lack of balance between the load and the load capacity of the bone. The disease mainly affects children and adolescents during their growth phase and leads to a disturbed bone matrix. Due to overstrain, it can lead to the detachment of bone fragments.

As a result, stress-related pain occurs.Conservative therapy may also include treatment with Hekla Lava. Here, too, a longer-term intake is recommended to alleviate the symptoms. About one month three globules of Hekla Lava C4 should be taken daily.

Afterwards the therapy is continued for another month with an intake of three globules daily together with phosphate compounds. It also causes the inflammation to heal more quickly and can contribute to the strengthening of bone substance, especially in children in the growth spurts.
