Interactions

Taking Lorano® and taking other medications at the same time can cause the level of active ingredient of Lorano® in the blood to rise. Such medications include antibiotics or antifungals (antifungal agents). In order to avoid interactions, it is therefore also advisable to consult a doctor if you plan to take Lorano® and are taking other medications at the same time.

Lorano in pregnancy and lactation

Lorano® should not be taken during pregnancy unless prescribed by your doctor. Lorano® should also not be taken when breastfeeding, as the active ingredient passes easily into breast milk. In general, one should be careful about taking medication during pregnancy, and it is best to clarify any medication with the doctor, even if it is over-the-counter. There is always the danger that the active ingredients of the medication get into the blood of the child and thus into the child’s body, where in the worst case they could negatively influence the development and health of the child.
