Make Up in Winter

Being beautiful even in winter. This requires clothing, hairstyle and a suitable make-up tailored to the season. These attributes of beauty, which should form a harmonious triad, are subject to changes in fashion. This winter, the colors of make-up are warm, soft and delicate. Decorative emphasis is also now placed on the eye area. However, consider this fashion advice only as a suggestion, and choose the make-up that suits you best.

The right shades for winter

Being beautiful even in winter. This requires clothes, hairstyle and make-up that are adapted to the season. About the cleaning of the skin before the maquillage and about the make-up technique you can read more here. Therefore, in the following we want to turn to the fashionable accents of the winter season. For the day, the so-called small decoration applies. It consists of shaping the eyebrows, discreetly emphasizing the upper edge of the eyelid, mascara of the eyelashes and in the choice of the appropriate lipstick. In any case, the make-up is based on the individual shape of the face, where the individual features of the face, more or less emphasized, must develop a harmony of colors that should reflect your whole personality. It is important to know that all light tones push forward, while dark tones flee and recede. By paying attention to this effect, we can correct imperfections in our facial contours. For example, on a longer face, the forehead and chin are kept darker, but the cheeks and ears are tinted light. On the other hand, for a wide face, the middle parts should be light and the outer sides darker. This concealing is done with the help of blush and powder. For skin foundation, use a light shade of pink for a pale complexion, a light beige for a rosy-cheeked face, and foundation (makeup, fond de teint) for a brunette skin type, according to your skin color beige to light brown. Scars, warts or eye rims are covered up with a pink or yellowish cover cream.

Proper makeup in winter

Depending on the shape of the face, we now apply three small dots of blush at the level of the cheekbones and distribute them well with the fingertips, towards the temples for a narrow face, and not beyond the cheekbones for a more rounded face. Avoid hard edges if you carefully blur the contours. Now a touch of powder on the chin, bridge of the nose and middle part of the forehead. Now, draw a thin eyelid line on the upper edge of the eyelid along the lash line with a soft, pointed eyebrow pencil (black is recommended) or with black or blue mascara. If you still have a young, wrinkle-free eye area, you can outline the entire eye. However, if the face is no longer quite young, the lower edge of the eyelid should remain unemphasized. Eyeshadow is applied very lightly to the upper eyelid and finely distributed up to the eyebrows, leaving out the inner corners of the eye. In great makeup, eyeshadow can look like butterfly wings, namely when the tip of the wing ends with the end of the eyebrow. The eyelash line can get a stronger accent if you draw a second line with a brush over the dark outline, in the same color as the eyeshadow. The current colors have bright, luminous character, such as light purple, silver blue, turquoise, light gray and light brown. With the tinting of the eyelashes proceed as with a summer make-up. While inking, now brush the upper lashes several times in the direction of the temples. This gives them a beautiful roundness. On the still wet eyelashes, then put more or less artificial fluff, as desired. If you wear artificial eyelashes, then note that before gluing them must be cut according to the shape of the eye, preferably to an irregular zigzag line, otherwise you will get the image of sleeping doll eyes. Still sticking, with the help of an ink brush, connect the real eyelashes with the false ones and cover the attachment point with light eyeliner.

Make-up for the eyes in winter

The upward swing of the eyebrows is no longer fashionable, nor is a continuous line. Draw in small, continuous strokes the brows. The most recommended colors are again gray and brown. With the lipstick we complete the makeup. The tones are radiant and flattering at the same time. The color scale ranges from delicate pastel to dark ruby, always matched to the complexion and clothing. There are nourishing, greasy lipsticks on the market, which are very well tolerated by brittle, drier lips, only they lick off quite easily. They last better if the mouth is pretreated with complexion base or light powder. In contrast, the decorative, low-fat lipsticks are more adhesive and color intensive. For the fashionable pastel shades of these pencils, priming with white lipstick is recommended, which prevents darkening. But what about our female eyeglass wearers? The beautiful, individual shapes of today’s glasses can make a face very attractive and interesting, especially if the frame is in harmony with the iris in terms of color. The lower rim of the glasses can be so unaccentuated that you don’t even notice it. Since in many cases the glasses enlarge the eyes anyway, they should not be further enlarged by the makeup. However, if you wear glasses and do not want to do without color effects, please choose very light shades for the eyelids and set them as discreetly as possible. In general, the same make-up for the evening applies to women who wear glasses as the daytime make-up for women without glasses. If we could give one more piece of advice to women who wear glasses, it would be to always buy two pairs, one of which should be reserved for festive occasions in terms of shape and color. The individual features of a face change in the course of life. Make-up should also adapt to these changes. Experienced beauticians therefore advise very sparing make-up until the age of 20. From 20 to 30 one can emphasize the advantages somewhat more strongly and from 30 to 40 the make-up at the highest increase. After 50, however, it should again be as sparing as until the age of 20. However, consider these suggestions only as a general guideline. Make-up cannot be pressed into a template. As we all know, anticipation is the purest joy. That’s why we’re about to take a cosmetic look at spring. For all those who finally want to bring system into their beauty care, the beginning of spring forms an almost ideal start, because at this time of year, visible successes are most likely to be recorded, if you do it right.

Skin care and makeup

Without question, the most important thing for systematic skin care is a thorough deep cleansing. If possible, undertake this cleansing once a week in the evening by pressing and vacuuming copious amounts of oily cream with at hands firmly onto the face areas and neck, repeating this uninterruptedly in the time of two minutes. With cellulose or cotton pads

now remove the remains of the applied grease cream. Do this whole procedure five more times in the same way. You will be amazed at how gratefully your skin responds to this purification. Three to four cold compresses will close the pores again. In our daily skin care routine, we must keep in mind that unlike winter, we should use less oil in spring and summer. Fat is more of an indirect skin care agent that, in addition to its covering protective effect, mainly prevents the skin from becoming too dry. In the warm season I would advise more to use light preparations and hydrophilic cosmetics. In the spring, the skin requires mainly vitamins, and in the summer moisturizing and refreshing treatments with the addition of herbal extracts, which are available for purchase as ready-to-use preparations. It is a different matter if the skin receives a grease cream pack from time to time, to which you can add freshly squeezed vegetable or fruit juices. We leave such a pack under a warm compress, over which we put a dry terry towel, for twenty minutes. Finally, a word of advice. The skin is a mirror of many processes that take place in the body. Skin changes are often signs of diseases of internal organs. Therefore, we should not only take care of the skin, but do something to keep our whole body healthy.
