- Do you suffer from nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath?* .
- Have you noticed sensory disturbances in the affected extremity?*
- Can you move the affected extremity? Do you feel any pain when doing so?
Vegetative history incl. nutritional history- of importance for wound healing.

- Do you get enough exercise every day?
- Do you smoke? If so, how many cigarettes, cigars or pipes per day?

- Do you use drugs? If yes, which drugs and how often per day or per week?
Self history incl. medication history.
- Pre-existing conditions (eg, diabetes mellitus due to wound healing).
- Vaccination status (because of tetanus vaccination).
