Pulling in the back and stomach
Pulling in the back and abdominal area can indicate a variety of problems. In this area the cause is not always located where the pain is localized. For example, an unspecific pulling up to the abdominal area may be a projected pain.
The starting point can also be located outside the abdominal area. In addition to all lower and upper abdominal organs, the chest organs heart and lungs, but also the psyche can be the cause. A differentiated diagnosis is important here.
If the pain only increases when breathing deeply, a problem of the chest organs or the diaphragm is obvious. A combination of abdominal and back pain can occur more frequently during pregnancy. The abdominal pain can be caused by stretching as the child grows or even by contractions that have already occurred. If pain persists in these areas, it is essential to consult a doctor, for example a general practitioner or gynecologist (gynecologist).
Pulling in the back and abdomen
The combination of pulling in the back and abdomen speaks for a variety of causes. A large group of the diseases in this area mainly affect women. Menstruation leads to monthly abdominal pain in very many women.
The rejection of the uterine lining sometimes manifests itself as back pain, which mainly extends into the lumbar region. The lumbar region is particularly susceptible to such a pulling pain. The lower abdomen accommodates organs that can lead to painful diseases and inflammation in both men and women.
Especially the genitals and the urinary tract are often affected. The bladder, for example, is home to many medical problems. If it is inflamed, this can lead to abdominal pain that can extend into the back.
In most cases, the germs responsible for the inflammation rise from the primary sexual organs. Women are much more often affected by such an inflammation than men, as the male urethra is about four times as long as the female. The urinary tract itself can also become inflamed.
On the one hand, this can lead to pulling in the back and abdomen, on the other hand it can cause urinary stones to form, which in turn trigger new pain. If such a urinary tract infection rises through the ureter, an inflammation of the kidneys and the renal pelvis can occur. This can also lead to a pulling pain in the back, which can occur on the right, left or both sides.
