Sodium chloratum as ointment

As usual for the Schüssler salts, the eighth salt can also be used externally as an ointment. Since sodium chloratum is supposed to regulate the ratio of the amount of fluid from inside and outside the cells, such an ointment is used for skin problems that are associated with a certain amount of fluid misregulation. These can include skin rashes such as herpes, acne or blisters.

In particular, this Schüssler salt helps when the blisters or blisters appear to be filled with liquid. Another area of application is edema, i.e. doughy swellings of the subcutaneous tissue. Here, too, there has been a misregulation of fluid, so that the fluid is now located in the intercellular space in the natural fatty tissue under the skin.

However, the application of Sodium chloratum ointment can also help with very dry skin or mucous membranes. Dry mucous membranes, for example, are often caused by regular use of nasal spray when you have a cold and manifest themselves in the form of itching or nosebleeds. Sodium chloratum is then used to compensate for this lack of water in the cells. As a supplement to a medically prescribed therapy, Sodium chloratum ointment can also be used for shingles, as this is often also a rash accompanied by fluid-filled blisters.
