Which homeopathics can help me?
There are many homeopathics that can help with aphthae. Several of them follow the same principle of action. Aphthae are inflammations of the mucous membrane, which can be caused by a shift in the acid-base balance, among other things.
Accordingly, homeopathy tries to compensate for this shift by using a homeopathic and modified form of various acids. There is a detailed article on this topic: “Homeopathy for aphthae”.
- One example of this is Acidum hydrofluoricum, which can be used not only for aphthae but also for other defects and irritations of mucous membranes.
It is recommended for independent use as a globule in the potencies D6 and D12 with an intake of three globules several times a day.
- Mercurius corrosivus is another example of this principle. This homeopathic remedy is also used for intestinal inflammation and can be applied with the same dosage as Acidum hydrofluoricum.
- Another possible homeopathic remedy is Carbo vegetabilis. It is used to treat not only inflammation of the mucous membranes and aphthae, but also weaknesses of the circulatory system and has a positive effect on the blood circulation. For your own use, the potencies D6 and D12 with two to three globules are recommended several times a day.
