Occasionally, there are women who become pregnant despite sterilization. In most cases this is due to a mistake during the operation. This means, for example, that the fallopian tubes were not sufficiently cut and sclerosed.
Can one become pregnant while breastfeeding?
There are many women who think that they cannot get pregnant while breastfeeding. The fact is that many women actually find it more difficult to become pregnant during this time because during the breastfeeding phase the level of the hormone prolactin is found in elevated concentrations in the body and the hormones LH and FSH are only present in small amounts. The latter two hormones are responsible for the maturation of the egg cell and ovulation.
If these hormones are only present in small amounts, it is of course obvious that pregnancy is not so easy.Nevertheless, there is still the possibility of becoming pregnant again. If you want to avoid this, you should also use appropriate contraception during sexual intercourse while breastfeeding.
