Dosage form
Usual for adults, is the daily administration of a drinking ampoule or three capsules over a period of 4-6 weeks, whereby the intake on an empty stomach favors the vitamin absorption. A short-term overdose is usually no cause for concern, as excess vitamin B12 is excreted from the body with the urine, so that no oversupply can occur.
