Dosage forms
Orthomol Immun® can be taken in various forms. Orthomol Immun® can be drunk in a bottle. The contents of a bottle should be taken daily with or after a meal.
One drinking bottle corresponds to the recommended daily dose. Orthomol Immun® is also available as a granulate. Per day, the contents of a sachet should be dissolved in 100-200ml water or juice and drunk with a meal.
A further dosage form is possible in tablets or capsules. 4 tablets/2 capsules per day should be swallowed with plenty of water. The tablets/capsules can be taken individually or with meals throughout the day.
Finally, Orthomol Immun® can also be taken as direct granules. In this case, the granules are poured directly into the mouth with a meal, the granules dissolve very quickly. One sachet of direct granules corresponds to the recommended daily dose. The contents of the pouch can be taken in one portion or in several portions throughout the day. In general, regular and long-term use of Orthomol Immun® is recommended to cover the micronutrient requirements of the immune system.
Patient information
Actually, there are no known contraindications for taking Orthomol Immun®. However, before taking Orthomol Immun®, you should discuss this with your treating physician. In general, it is recommended to discuss the use of Orthomol Immun® with your treating physician at regular intervals.
In particular, if you suffer from glucose intolerance, dietary foods should only be taken under regular metabolic control, preferably after consultation with your doctor.It is particularly important to consult a doctor before taking Orthomol Immun® if you have a known hyperthyroidism. If you have an iron metabolism disorder in which too much iron is stored, you should also take Orthomol Immun® only after consulting your doctor. The same applies to kidney stones from oxalate and a lack of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. Of course, Orthomol Immun® should not be taken as a substitute for a healthy diet, as it cannot replace it. Furthermore, Orthomol Immun® cannot replace drug therapies.
