The effectiveness of the pill can be influenced by the taking of other medicines, so for instance also with the administration of Benzodiazepinen. In order to ensure adequate contraceptive protection, other contraceptives such as condoms should therefore be used.

No interactions with the Pill and its effectiveness have been described for the use of flunarizine. However, it is advisable to consult a doctor before starting to take the pill. To date, no interactions with the pill are known to occur when taking preparations containing dimenhydrinate, such as Vomex®. The effect or effectiveness of the contraceptive pill should therefore remain unaffected.
