How can damage to the vertebral arch be prevented?
Some changes in the vertebral arch, such as arthrosis or complaints caused by an accident, cannot be treated preventively. However, through sport and especially by building up the back muscles, one can prevent excessive or incorrect loading and wear and tear of the individual vertebrae. Attending a back school and an ergonomically correct sitting posture during office work are examples for the prophylaxis of back problems. In order to maintain a healthy body, it is also advisable to avoid risky sports.
