How often and for how long should I take homeopathic medication?

The duration and frequency of taking homeopathic remedies depends on the intensity of the symptoms and the type of homeopathic remedy. The dosage should always be adapted to the symptoms and should be reduced accordingly if the symptoms improve. With the homeopathic remedy Arnica, the dosage should be taken promptly after the onset of symptoms and should not exceed two weeks. Most homeopathic remedies can be taken several times a day.

Treatment of the disease only with homeopathy or only as supportive therapy?

Whether conjunctivitis can only be treated with homeopathy or whether it should rather have a supportive effect depends on the cause of the disease and the severity of the symptoms.

  • If it is a bacterial inflammation, it should be treated promptly with antibiotics.
  • However, this is not necessary for the more frequent viral inflammations. The severity of the symptoms is also important for the type of treatment.
  • If there is no improvement by the sole use of homeopathic remedies within a few days, another treatment should be sought.
