Extract | Tribulus terrestris

Extract

Tribulus terrestris extract is an active ingredient found in the plants butcher’s broom, butcher’s broom, earth thorn and tricorn. It is said to be an anabolic substitute, which makes Tribulus extract a popular dietary supplement in sports. The extract contains saponins and is used to influence human hormone levels, thereby improving male sex drive and increasing muscle growth.

The extract is also taken to increase testosterone production. Another advantage of taking Tribulus extract is that it flushes stored water out of the body and the immune system also benefits from taking it. Mainly responsible for this positive effect of Tribulus Extract are the saponins, which are found in the earth root thorn, but also in other legumes.

The saponins are therefore the main reason why Tribulus has been so successful in the strength and bodybuilding scene. When taken in the form of the extract, there are many active ingredients such as saponins and protodioscins, which are among the plant steroids. One expects this steroid effect also from the Tribulus extract, since it promises fast and clear successes by the high active substance density.

The extracts are extracted from the plant and partly mixed with other active ingredients and sold as capsules. A commercial dose for purchase contains e.g. 90 capsules and costs about 25 Euro. You can buy the extract capsules on the Internet or in specialized shops. Since Tribulus Terrestris grows in different regions of the world and different chemical compositions of the plant occur, the different extracts can also be used for different problems. Also the mixing of different extracts, e.g. from India and Iran, occurs.
