Ingredients & Active ingredients

Zeel® comp. N contains 5 active ingredients regardless of the dosage form. The spectrum of action of combination preparations such as Zeel is mainly determined by the effects of the individual ingredients, but can have additional effects due to the combination of several substances.

In detail, the active ingredients are Arnica montana (mountain welfare), Rhus toxicodendron (poison ivy), Sanguinaria canadensis (Canadian blood root), Solanum dulcamara (bittersweet nightshade) and sulfur (sulfur). As in any homeopathic medicine, they are diluted, so that only traces of the active ingredients are present in the finished product. Zeel® comp.

N is regarded as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent. The individual ingredients are said to be particularly effective in treating arthrosis and rheumatic complaints. The latter are more strongly influenced when they become more intense in cold and wet conditions.

In addition, muscle pain after overloading and other joint inflammations should be able to be treated with the drug. According to the manufacturer, the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect only occurs after about 4-6 weeks, which is why Zeel® comp. N should be taken at the beginning with other, faster acting painkillers. Zeel® comp. N is also said to provide effective protection against pain relapses in rheumatism and osteoarthritis.

Side effects

Homeopathic medicines usually have very few side effects because they contain the active ingredients in minimal doses. If side effects occur, they are usually very weak. After taking Zeel® comp.

N can lead to gastrointestinal complaints and hypersensitivity reactions. Drugs containing the same ingredients in higher doses occasionally trigger allergic reactions with rashes, itching, shortness of breath and drop in blood pressure. If these or similar symptoms occur, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a doctor.

Interactions

Interactions between Zeel® comp. N and other drugs are not yet known or described (2017). The reason for this is probably that the drug contains only very small doses of its active ingredients and has little or no effect on the systems relevant to interactions, such as liver metabolism.

However, interactions are conceivable. If other medications are taken, the attending physician, pharmacist, naturopath or homeopath should be informed. In addition, in homeopathy, the effect of every medicine can be unfavorably influenced by an unhealthy lifestyle, other damaging factors, and stimulants and stimulants such as coffee and alcohol.
