Interaction

Strengthens the effect of curmarin derivatives (Marcumar). Interactions between Umckaloablo® and the pill are not known. You can take Umckaloablo® without hesitation, the effect of the pill is not reduced.

You can take Umckaloablo® and Johanna herb together. There are no known interactions. There are no known interactions between Sinupret® and Umckaloablo®.

You can take the medicines together without any concerns. There is no known interaction between Marcumar® and Umckaloablo®. However, taking Umckaloablo® may cause a reduction in the blood platelets. A frequency of this is not known.If you want to take Marcumar® and Umckaloablo® at the same time, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Contraindication/counterindication

Pregnancy and lactation are considered contraindications, as there are not yet enough experience studies on their use in pregnancy to rule out a fundamental risk.

Intake during the breastfeeding period

You should not take Umckaloablo® while breastfeeding. This is because it is unknown whether active ingredients of the drug are transferred into breast milk. Therefore a risk for the infant cannot be excluded.

Consumption during pregnancy

Umckaloablo® should not be used during pregnancy as there is insufficient data on safety.

Be careful

Any medicine, no matter how natural, becomes a “poison” if it is used incorrectly. Even natural remedies have their limits. Even nature with its healing powers cannot do much against serious infections.

If the infection does not change after three days of self-medication or if it becomes even worse, a doctor must always be consulted! Umckaloabo must not be taken instead of an antibiotic. For example, if streptococcal angina is not treated with antibiotics, serious complications such as endocarditis (bacterial inflammation of the heart valve or heart muscle) may occur.

Dosage form

Uckaloabo is available in various dosage forms. It can be taken in the form of: taken

  • Drops (contain 12% alcohol! )
  • Tablets

Umckaloabo is available in tablet form or as drops.

The drops are available in 20ml, 50ml or 100ml liquid. They consist of the extract of the Pelargonium sidoides roots, 11%ethanol and 85% glycerol. The Umckaloabo drops are expectorant, combat the infectious agent and shorten the duration of the disease. For children aged 1-12 years, the drops are available as an alcohol-free, tasty juice. It is based on purely vegetable ingredients and is well tolerated.
