Properties of a Theraband

The Theraband is an elastic band which is used in training and therapy. The Theraband is available in different strengths (colors) and is very easy to use. The type of application can also be varied.

If you want to mobilize more, you can pull the band completely without tension in the corresponding direction. If you want to strengthen more, you can grip the band more tightly or simply use it twice. The band is suitable for all age groups, because the exercise is performed more with your own body weight. The Theraband can also be attached to a railing or door handle, so that the variety of exercises is large. You can find more information in the article: TherabandThe advantages of using a Theraband are great:

  • On the one hand, the device is very small, fits in every cupboard and every suitcase and can therefore be stowed away everywhere or taken with you to complete the training program on vacation.
  • On the other hand, the severity itself can be varied by either taking the ribbon twice or by choosing an appropriate color of the ribbon which is harder to pull.
  • The selection of exercises is also varied and can often be added visually in a small booklet or expanded via videos on the Internet.
  • The exercises all take place with your own body weight and are intensified by the Theraband.
  • The exercises with the Theraband are suitable for all age groups because they are very simple.
  • In contrast to equipment in the gym, which may be performed incorrectly due to poor or incorrect instructions, this cannot normally happen with the Theraband.
  • In addition, the exercises can be done anywhere and at any time, since neither much space nor time is needed to do a few exercises with the Theraband.
