Most people are unaware of the definition of pain in the ball of the foot.On the other hand, depending on the posture of the foot, the load points, which should actually be mainly limited to the heel, the outer edge of the foot, the ball of the foot and the big toe, are incorrectly shifted and therefore some patients also describe pain in the rear and middle area of the sole of the foot as “ball of foot pain“. Depending on the localization, the pain has certain characteristics or is causally related to disease or poor posture.
