General measures

  • Carefully select hair care products
  • Do not wash hair too often.
  • Wet hair do not blow dry too hot and do not rub too dry.
  • Limited alcohol consumption (men: max. 25 g alcohol per day; women: max. 12 g alcohol per day).
  • Avoidance of psychosocial stress:
    • Stress

Nutritional medicine

  • Nutritional counseling based on nutritional analysis
  • Nutritional recommendations according to a mixed diet taking into account the disease at hand. This means, among other things:
    • Daily total of 5 servings of fresh vegetables and fruits (≥ 400 g; 3 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruits).
    • Once or twice a week fresh sea fish, i.e. fatty marine fish (omega-3 fatty acids) such as salmon, herring, mackerel.
    • High-fiber diet (whole grains, vegetables).
  • Observance of the following special dietary recommendations:
    • Reduction of sugar consumption – lower intake of rapidly utilizable carbohydrates (contained in household sugar; foods containing sugar or glucose, sweets such as chocolate, chocolate bars, candies, chocolates, etc., white flour products (white bread, rolls, toast, cakes, cookies, etc.).
    • Reducing the total fat content of the diet, especially saturated fatty acids (contained in sweets, snacks, ready-made mayonnaise, ready-made dressings, ready-made meals, fried foods, breaded foods).
  • Selection of appropriate food based on the nutritional analysis
